Bill Murray's comedy-drama "St. Vincent" will screen Oct. 9 as the opening night selection of next month's 22nd Hamptons International Film Festival, Newsday's Rafer Guzmán reports. The movie, starring Murray as a curmudgeonly war veteran and Melissa McCarthy as a single mother who leaves her 12-year-old son in his care, proved a hit at this year's Toronto International Film Festival. Festival organizers also announced that "The Imitation Game," starring Benedict Cumberbatch as the World War II codebreaker Alan Turing, will screen Oct. 11. The movie will be presented with the Alfred P. Sloan award, which encourages realistic and accurate depictions of science and technology on film.
