Disney has released the first cast photo from its upcoming and still-untitled Han Solo movie.
Though details about the plot remain under wraps, Disney clearly intends to whet fans’ appetites with sneak peeks like this one, which is tied to an announcement that filming officially began Monday at Pinewood Studios in London.
At the far left of the photograph — clearly taken in the Millennium Falcon — sits co-director Christopher Miller (“The Lego Movie”), with Woody Harrelson hovering above. The woman near Harrelson is Phoebe Waller-Bridge, a British actress only recently confirmed to have joined the cast. (Thandie Newton, another recently-announced co-star, is not pictured.)
In the center is Alden Ehrenreich (“Rules Don’t Apply”), who’ll play the young Han. (Note his slightly Indiana Jones-ish leather jacket.) Between Han and Chewbacca (played by Joonas Suotamo) is Emilia Clarke of “Game of Thrones” fame. Next to her is Miller’s co-director, Phil Lord, and last but not least is Donald Glover (“Atlanta”) as the young Lando Calrissian.
The Han Solo movie is due in theaters May 25, 2018.
