Mark Ruffalo and Laura Dern will be guests at the 22nd Hamptons International Film Festival, organizers announced Thursday.
The two actors will sit for live interviews as part of the festival's "A Conversation With . . . " series, which also includes previously announced guests Hilary Swank and director Joel Schumacher.
Ruffalo is a star of the upcoming drama "Foxcatcher," which features Steve Carell as the murderous millionaire John DuPont, and Dern appears with Reese Witherspoon in "Wild," about a troubled woman who hikes 1,000 miles along the Pacific Crest Trail. Both films -- which have been mentioned as early Oscar contenders -- are based on true stories and will screen at the festival.
The director of "Wild," Jean-Marc Vallée (last year's Oscar-nominated "Dallas Buyer's Club"), is also expected to attend the festival, which runs Oct. 9 through 13.
"Wild" and "Foxcatcher" join a lineup that also includes the Tommy Lee Jones-directed "The Homesman," starring himself and Swank, and Elizabeth Banks' "Little Accidents."
