THE DEAL The 23-year-old actor who played race-car driver Shane Dyson in "Transformers: Age of Extinction" will star in an action thriller produced by Martin Scorsese, according to reports. The story focuses on a woman who brokers a deal between a gunrunning gang and two Irishmen, only to see things go terribly awry. Reynor, a Colorado native of Irish descent, stars alongside Armie Hammer, Brie Larson, Sam Riley and Sharlto Copley. The director is Ben Wheatley.

THE DEAL The onetime Apple computer pitchman has joined the cast of a thriller directed by Ed Gass-Donnelly ("The Last Exorcism Part II"). Long will play a psychologist trying to help a photographer (Abbie Cornish) recover lost memories in the wake of a traumatic accident. It's the latest film in the horror-chiller vein for Long, who starred in last year's Kevin Smith flop "Tusk." According to the production company, AMBI Group, filming has already begun in Toronto and is scheduled to wrap June 29.
THE MOVIE "Tab Hunter Confidential"
THE DEAL Jeffrey Schwarz's new documentary follows the life and career of Tab Hunter ("Damn Yankees," "Polyester"), a matinee idol during the 1950s who openly acknowledged his homosexuality in his 2007 autobiography. Schwarz, whose other documentaries include "I Am Divine," will speak live via Skype at a local screening.
