THE DEAL Warner Bros. has set Feb. 7, 2020, as the release date for Robbie’s much-awaited Harley Quinn movie, Variety reports. In it, the Australian actress will reprise her role as the damaged villainess Harley Quinn, possibly assembling a team of superheroes including Black Canary and Huntress, though plot details have not been officially released. Actresses rumored to have tested for parts include Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Margaret Qualley. The film is aiming to begin production next year.

THE DEAL This romantic drama starring Holmes is moving closer to reality now that several producers have come on board, according to Deadline. Producers Matthew George and Joe Gelchion, of the upcoming “A Private War” (based on the life of Long Island war correspondent Marie Colvin) and Robert Katz of “Law Abiding Citizen” will fully finance the film, which is based on a self-help documentary and book of the same name by Rhonda Byrne. Holmes will play a widow with three children whose new handyman shares his philosophy that humans can control the universe with their minds.

THE DEAL The Steve McQueen classic celebrates its 50th anniversary next month with a return to theaters nationwide. Directed by Peter Yates and starring McQueen as San Francisco cop Frank Bullitt, the film was released in 1968 and drew instant acclaim for its unprecedented (and perhaps still unrivaled) car-chase sequence, a nearly 11-minute whirlwind through the city. Robert Vaughn and Jacqueline Bissett are among the supporting cast; Lalo Schifrin composed the score.
