You just might spot Tina Fey and Amy Poehler walking down Main Street in Huntington this week.
Universal Studios has chosen a Huntington hair salon, Jon Megaris, to shoot the remaining scenes for the upcoming movie "Sisters," featuring the "Saturday Night Live" alums.
Production crews have transformed the interior and exterior of Jon Megaris into "Be That You Salon," a fictitious beauty parlor that Poehler and Fey's characters visit together in the film.
Another Huntington spot, Lotus Vintage, has provided '80s-themed clothing for the shoot.
In July, the film's costume designer "came in and bought a ton of stuff over three days for the movie," said Adriene Passannante, the boutique's owner. "She was pulling for a few different characters."
Designers bought pink leather jackets and other accessories true to the decade for Poehler and Fey's characters, as well as for a DJ.
"Sisters," previously called "The Nest," is about distanced siblings who reunite to throw one last hurrah when their parents decide to sell their family home. The film is scheduled to be released on Dec. 18.
