Billy Joel will extend his Madison Square Garden residency into 2015, adding a record-breaking 13th show at the arena on Jan. 9 and a 14th show on Feb. 18.

Joel previously set the record for longest run at The Garden in 2006 with 12 sold-out shows. The February show will also mark his 60th appearance at the arena, closing in on Elton John’s record of 64 concerts there.

Tickets are $64.50-$124.50 through Ticketmaster and go on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 14. Citi cardholders can purchase presale tickets starting at 10 a.m. Nov. 10 through the company’s Citi Private Pass program.

Joel will receive ASCAP’s Centennial Award, along with Garth Brooks, Stevie Wonder, Joan Baez and Stephen Sondheim, on Nov. 17. He will receive the Gershwin Prize from the Library of Congress on Nov. 19.
