Music star Céline Dion has canceled the March 27 to April 18 performances of her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace due to upcoming surgery.

Her management said on Facebook that she has been treating the middle-ear disorder Patulous eustachian tube with medication but must now “undergo a minimally invasive surgical procedure” to correct it.

“My luck hasn’t been very good lately,” Dion, who turns 50 on March 30, said in the Facebook post. “I’ve been so looking forward to doing my shows again and this happens…. I just can’t believe it! I apologize to everyone who planned to travel to Las Vegas to see my show. I know how disappointing this is, and I’m so sorry.” Refunds will be issued.
