So there was Chris Brown, dressed all in white, soaring high above the crowd last month at the MTV Video Music Awards. It was an unlikely position for the 22-year-old artist, who two years ago pleaded guilty to assaulting his then-girlfriend, Rihanna, in February 2009. But after the requisite apology tour and community service, Brown got busy rehabbing his image and reviving his career. Not everyone is ready to absolve the R&B star (after Brown's high-flying performance at the VMAs, a camera shot showed Rihanna's mentor Jay-Z refusing to clap while others around him stood and cheered), but in the eyes of his devoted fans -- dubbed Team Breezy -- all is forgiven.

Brown continues his comeback with the "F.A.M.E." tour, which arrives at Nassau Coliseum Sept. 30. Here's a sneak peak of what to expect.

1 DANCING MACHINE No one can question Brown's ability as a dancer. Since early in his career, Breezy was often compared to Michael Jackson, which is one of the reasons the B.E.T. Awards tapped Brown to pay tribute to the King of Pop last year (it was also during this performance that Brown broke down and cried while singing "Man in the Mirror," which for some was further evidence of his remorse). However, singing live and performing acrobatic dance moves rarely go hand in hand -- several reviews have noted that Brown lip syncs his way through a few songs during his energetic routines.

2 BARING IT ALL There will be plenty of pecs on display as Brown and his dancers go through several costume changes throughout the evening. The T-shirt budget for this tour must be through the roof.

3 LAPPING IT UP During a few stops on the tour, Brown has brought a lucky fan onstage for an erotic lap dance during the performance of "Take You Down." YouTube videos show the hunky star coming teasingly close to planting a kiss on the young women. Can't guarantee it'll happen at the Coliseum, but dress to impress, and bring your breath mints just the same.
