The Foo Fighters decided to rickroll protesters from the Westboro Baptist Church who were outside the band's Kansas City venue.

When the Westboro Baptist Church decided to protest a recent Foo Fighters' concert in Kansas City, Mo., the band came back with an unconventional response.

Frontman Dave Grohl and his crew decided to take an Internet phenomenon to the streets by rickrolling the infamous protesters of Topeka, Kansas.

As video clips captured by fans and the concert venue show, the Foo Fighters drove by playing Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" and holding up a sign that said "You Got Rick Roll'd Again."

Fans cheered, as the band clapped and danced in the back of a pickup truck.

Rickrolling has been a popular Internet trick for years, in which memes and links lead unsuspecting users to a clip of the 1987 single.
