The Laid Back Festival, which the late Gregg Allman launched on Long Island in 2015, will return to Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater in September as a tribute to the musician, who died May 27.

Jackson Browne, Steve Winwood, Peter Wolf, and Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul will headline the festival on Sept. 24, along with Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band, Garland Jeffreys and Scott Sharrard and the Brickyard Band on the second stage.

Allman died last month of complications from liver cancer at the age of 69. Longtime Allman manager Michael Lehman and Live Nation decided to move forward with this year’s festival as tribute to the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Live Nation. Citi cardholders can begin purchasing pre-sale tickets at 10 a.m. Tuesday through citiprivatepass.com.
