Will Katy Perry make it four No. 1s in a row with her latest single “E.T.”?
Well, she’s certainly going to go for it, calling in Kanye West to spice up the remix. 'Ye even leads off the song now, declaring, “Welcome to the danger zone, step into the fantasy/ You are not invited to the other side of sanity.” He then goes on to talk about alien sex a lot.
Maybe ‘Ye’s presence will shake off all those comparing “E.T.” to Russian faux-lesbians t.A.T.u.’s 2000 hit “All the Things She Said” now.
If “E.T.” manages to top the charts, it will be the first time an artist has had four No. 1s from the same album since Usher did it in 2004 with “Confessions.”
