Janet Jackson has extended her current "Unbreakable" world tour into next summer, including a stop at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater on June 25.
Jackson's tour kicked off Aug. 31 in Vancouver, a run-up to the release of "Unbreakable," her first studio album in seven years, on Oct. 2. The album has already generated a No. 1 R&B hit with "No Sleeep." Her first area stop is Feb. 22 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Tickets for Jackson's Nikon at Jones Beach Theater show are $39.95-$175.95 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Sept. 19 through Live Nation. Citi cardholders can begin purchasing presale tickets at 10 a.m. Monday.
According to early reviews, the "Unbreakable" tour runs the gamut of Jackson's career, starting with the breakthrough "Control," and runs through the new album.
