Johnny Depp’s band the Hollywood Vampires canceled its appearance on CBS’ “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” Monday after guitarist Joe Perry collapsed during a concert and was hospitalized the day before, People magazine said.

During a concert at the Ford Amphitheater on the Coney Island Boardwalk, Perry, 65, a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer with the group Aerosmith, slumped and then staggered offstage.

“Thanks to all of the fans reaching out and asking about Joe,” read a message late Sunday on Perry’s Twitter page. “He is stable right now, with family and is under the best care.”

An administrator at Coney Island Hospital confirmed the 65-year-old Perry had undergone tests. Further details were not released. “Joe Perry is doing well and resting and appreciates all your good wishes,” said the group’s representative, Sujata Murthy.
