Considering how much Josh Groban was hanging out with Long Islanders last year, it only makes sense that his “Bridges” tour will stop at NYCB Live’s Nassau Coliseum on its next leg.
On the first leg of Groban’s tour, Syosset native Idina Menzel was the opening act. His co-star in his Netflix series “The Good Cop” was Malverne native Tony Danza. The singer even covers Billy Joel’s “She’s Always a Woman” on the deluxe edition of his 2018 album, “Bridges.”
Groban will play the Coliseum on June 15 on his upcoming tour, which kicks off June 7 at the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, Illinois, and runs through Sept. 6 in Livermore, California. Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles will open the show in Uniondale.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster. American Express cardholders can purchase presale tickets starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday. For those who can’t wait for their Groban fix, a special filmed from his concerts at Madison Square Garden last year will be in movie theaters around the world on Tuesday. "Josh Groban Bridges From Madison Square Garden" will have showings in Regal Deer Park Stadium 16, Showcase Cinema De Lux Farmingdale, Island 16: Cinema De Lux in Holtsville and UA Westbury Stadium 12.
