Get ready, you little monsters. Your leader is returning.
Yes, Lady Gaga is bringing her “Monster Ball Tour” back to North America, including a stop at Madison Square Garden on July 6. (The ever-savvy Gaga has left some space between that date and the next scheduled show in Toronto so that she can add some more MSG shows to accommodate the almost certain sell-outs.)
Tickets for the show go on sale to the public on Friday through Ticketmaster. Because of her partnership with Virgin Mobile – you didn’t think all those glamor shots of Virgin Mobile phones in the wild “Telephone” video were an accident, did you? – customers of that service get access to the show’s pre-sale, which starts at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Gaga told Ryan Seacrest last month that the show, which will be different from the small hall tour she brought to Radio City Music Hall earlier this year, will be “more of a musical and less of a concert.” “It has a New York theme,” she added. “It's a story, and the story is that me and my friends are in New York and we're going to the Monster Ball, and we get lost.”
The tour is set to start June 28 in Montreal and run through Sept. 19 in Raleigh.
