Not wanting to see potential hits get wasted like they did on “E=MC2,” Mariah Carey will release a remix album “Angels Advocate” (Island) on March 30 to give them another chance. Though the tracklist hasn’t been set, “Angels Advocate” will boost a remix featuring Nicki Minaj of “Up Out My Face,” which was a passed-over single from Carey’s recent “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel” CD. The remix album will also feature a new duet with Ne-Yo “Angels Cry,” which like “Up Out My Face” has a new Nick Cannon-directed video debuting today on VEVO. Both singles are also being released to radio today, with “Up Out My Face” going to urban stations and “Angels Cry” going to adult contemporary stations.
