Maroon 5 and Train's co-headlining tour will pull into Nikon at Jones Beach Theater on Aug. 12.

Though Maroon 5 doesn't have a newer album than last year's "Hands All Over," it's profile is certainly high these days with singer Adam Levine (pictured, right) being part of NBC's heavily promoted “The Voice,” which debuts Tuesday night. Levine and keyboardist Jesse Carmichael (left) probably know Jones Beach pretty well after attending Five Towns College for a couple of years.

Gavin DeGraw will open the Jones Beach show.

Fan club presale starts May 3 and tickets go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. May 7.
