The Moody Blues will celebrate the 50th anniversary of its “Days of Future Passed” by playing it in its entirety on a special tour that includes a stop at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater on July 12.

“Little did we know when we made ‘Days of Future Passed’ that it would eventually change our lives,” singer Justin Hayward said in a statement. “My dearest wish is that maybe the album has made the world a better place. It will be a joy to return to it, live.”

The band will play “Days of Future Passed,” which includes classics “Nights in White Satin” and “Tuesday Afternoon,” as a single piece, as it was originally conceived to chronicle a single day. They will also play a selection of their greatest hits on the new tour.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. March 3 through Ticketmaster.
