Morrissey is planning a busy 2014, including releasing his first new album in five years and an international tour, set to stop at Barclays Center on June 21.
The recently minted best-selling author, thanks to his “Autobiography” that topped sales charts in England and Ireland, recently finished recording the album in France with producer Joe Chiccarelli and will release it on Harvest Records in America.
Morrissey’s tour will include his longtime band – guitarists Boz Boorer and Jesse Tobias, bassist Solomon Walker, drummer Matthew Walker and keyboardist Gustavo Manzur – and Sir Cliff Richard is set to open Moz’s Brooklyn show.
Tickets are $35-$125 through Ticketmaster and go on sale at noon Friday. Pre-sale tickets will be available to American Express cardholders starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
