He's still got the singles - both the poppy, AutoTuned "My Time" with Jeremih and the playful "Throw It in the Bag" with The-Dream are bounding up the charts - but he goes deeper when he talks of fatherhood, especially "Stay," where he raps, "I give a -- about hip-hop's new beef, I was more excited when my son grew teeth."
