New Kids on the Block, with guest acts including Long Island Music Hall of Fame hip-hop duo Salt-N-Pepa, will play the soon-to-open UBS Arena in Elmont on June 30.

Promoter Live Nation announced Monday that general-public tickets for this stop on The MixTape Tour 2022 go on sale Friday at ticketmaster.com. For VIP packages and New Kids on the Block fan club presales, go to NKOTB.com. The tour commences May 10 in Cincinnati and concludes July 23 in Washington, DC.

Additional guests on the tour are Rick Astley and En Vogue.

Fronted by Cheryl "Salt" James, 55, and Sandra "Pepa" Denton, 56, the multiplatinum Grammy Award-winning duo was inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame in 2012 with their former DJ, Deidra "DJ Spinderella" Roper. While Salt-N-Pepa was formed in 1985 in Queens, where both James and Denton lived at the time, James has spent her adult life first in Dix Hills and then Melville.

"We are excited to announce that we're hitting the road with @nkotb's #TheMixtapeTour in 2022 with @envoguemusic & @officialrickastley!" the duo tweeted Monday.

Salt-N-Pepa broke barriers as one of the first female hip-hop stars, and became the first such to win a Grammy Award, with their single "None of Your Business" capturing 1994's best rap performance by a duo or group. Their first album, "Hot, Cool & Vicious" (1986) went platinum, as did 1990s "Blacks' Magic" and 1993's "Very Necessary," which spawned the hits "Shoop," "Whatta Man," featuring En Vogue, and "None of Your Business.

Their other hits include "Push It," which was featured in a Geico insurance commercial in 2014.

UBS Arena is scheduled to open Nov. 19 with a private charity concert, followed the next day with the NHL's Islanders’ season starter in their new home, welcoming the Calgary Flames.
