Niall Horan really believes in the support (and patience) of his fans, announcing Friday plans to play Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater on Sept. 12, 2018.
The One Directioner’s debut album “Flicker” won’t arrive until Oct. 20 and he hasn’t even played his first New York show as a solo headliner yet (that’s on Halloween at the Beacon Theatre). Nevertheless, he will put tickets on sale for the “Flicker World Tour 2018” starting at 10 a.m. Sept. 22 through Ticketmaster. Citi cardholders can begin purchasing pre-sale tickets through the Citi Private Pass program on Tuesday.
On Friday, Horan also released “Too Much to Ask,” the third single from “Flicker” expected to follow “This Town” and the current hit “Slow Hands” up the charts.
Of course, planning ahead is nothing new for the One Direction guys. The group put tickets for their Jones Beach debut on sale 14 months before they arrived in 2013. And Horan’s bandmate Harry Styles started selling tickets in June 2017 for his two Madison Square Garden shows in June 2018.
