Even Ozzy Osbourne knows he has talked about retiring from touring plenty of times before.
That’s why he’s named what he’s calling his final tour, which includes a stop at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater on Sept. 8, “No More Tours 2” — a nod to the fact that he had a “No More Tours” tour in 1992. This time, though, Osbourne says he really means it.
“I’ve been blessed with an amazing life,” Osbourne said at a news conference Tuesday. “I’m looking at this final tour as being a huge celebration for my fans and anyone who has enjoyed my music over the past five decades.”
Osbourne plans to tackle material from his former band, heavy metal pioneers Black Sabbath, and his solo career on the tour, which will feature guitarist Zakk Wylde, bassist Blasko, drummer Tommy Clufetos and keyboardist Adam Wakeman.
Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 17 through Live Nation. Citi cardholders can purchase presale tickets starting at 10 a.m. Feb. 14.
