Raquel Castro is kicking off the Super Bowl festivities early, releasing her new single “Diary” before the big game and the second season premiere of NBC's “The Voice.”

“Diary” shows off a different side to the Port Jefferson Station teenager, who became known for her music on the first season of “The Voice,” where she reached the semifinals. It has more of a soulful feel, while still sounding like it came from a 17-year-old, and shows the kind of potential that could have Castro graduating from more than just high school soon.

“Diary” is now available through iTunes and CDBaby.
