The Paramount in Huntington is launching a new concert outlet for members only. The Founder’s Room Legends Series will begin on Aug. 30, featuring Rod Stewart, and continue next month on Sept. 12 with Don Henley.
“It entails bringing in legendary arena artists from the entertainment world to perform in an intimate setting,” says Adam Ellis, director of marketing. “These artists are so big that these small performances are rare. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
Tickets are priced high (Stewart tickets range $250-$750) and can only be purchased through the Paramount’s VIP services via firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 631-335-3584. However, these inaugural Legends Series shows will be open to prospective members who want to try out the benefits by enjoying the show and getting a tour of the Founder’s Room. Future shows will be strictly for Founder’s Room members.
The Founder’s Room is a 1920s-themed speak-easy VIP club in the lower lobby of the venue with private rooms, full menu and bar. In addition to use of the room during regular concerts, members enjoy private events, meet-and-greet sessions with the artists and members-only shows. The annual membership fee is $4,000.
