Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Roger Waters, a co-founder of the legendary progressive-rock band Pink Floyd, will bring his pandemic-postponed "This Is Not a Drill" solo tour to the soon-to-open UBS Arena in Elmont on Aug. 13.

The concert-in-the-round will feature a dozen classic Pink Floyd songs in what the arena's announcement Monday called "a groundbreaking new rock and roll/cinematic extravaganza." Ticket presale is either Wednesday at 10 a.m., according to Ticketmaster, or Thursday at 10 a.m. using the promo code BRICK, according to UBS Arena, which did not respond to requests for clarification. General public sale is Friday at 10 a.m.

UBS Arena is scheduled to open Nov. 19 with a private charity concert, followed the next day with the NHL Islanders’ season opener in their new home. Waters also will play Madison Square Garden Aug. 30-31.
