Roger Waters’ secret “Us + Them” tour is set to stop at the new Nassau Coliseum and Barclays Center.
“We are going to take a new show on the road, the content is very secret,” Waters said in a statement. “It’ll be a mixture of stuff from my long career, stuff from my years with Pink Floyd, some new things. Probably 75 percent of it will be old material and 25 percent will be new, but it will be all connected by a general theme. It will be a cool show, I promise you. It’ll be spectacular like all my shows have been.”
Waters — currently readying another weekend set at the Desert Trip festival alongside Paul McCartney, Rolling Stones and newly crowned Nobel Prize winner Bob Dylan — will stop at Barclays Center on Sept. 11 and 12, and at Nassau Coliseum on Sept. 15. The tour kicks off May 26 in Kansas City, Missouri.
Tickets for the entire tour will go on sale on Oct. 21 through Ticketmaster. Citi cardholders can purchase pre-sale tickets starting at 10 a.m. Monday through Citi Private Pass.
Booking Waters to Nassau Coliseum is the first example of what Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment — the company that oversees operations and events at the new Coliseum — has said will be a regular occurrence of getting tours to play its Barclays Center and the Long Island arena.
