The Rolling Stones are coming to New York for their 50th anniversary tour after all, with a Dec. 8 show at Barclays Center that will now be the tour's first American show.

The announcement puts to rest speculation that arose after the band set shows at the Prudential Center in Newark for Dec. 13 and 15. The shows were expected to be the only American shows, joining two shows at London's O2 Arena on Nov. 25 and 29. However, a statement from Mick Jagger that “Everybody loves a celebration, and London and New York are two good places to do it in!” led to speculation that there would be additional shows in New York.

Tickets for the Barclays Center show go on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 19 through Ticketmaster. The Rolling Stones will release their new box set “Grrr!” Tuesday and a new documentary “Crossfire Hurricane” debuts on HBO on Thursday.
