Taking Back Sunday is leaning towards calling their upcoming album, which reunites the “Tell All Your Friends”-era lineup, “Taking Back Sunday.”
"We haven't had [a self-titled album], and going back to the original lineup, it seems appropriate," singer Adam Lazzara told Spin.com. "But who knows by the end of the recording process."
He also said that the first song the band played when it reunited with John Nolan and Shaun Cooper was the new song, currently titled “Best Places To Be a Mom.” "We had quite a bit to drink, so we went to see if we could play the old songs, which just went terribly," Lazzara said. "So instead we tried a new song [the band had been exchanging ideas via email] and this was the first song we played all the way through — normally, our stuff just doesn't come together that quickly."
The band is still working on the album with producer Eric Valentine in Los Angeles.
