Twisted Sister guitarist Jay Jay French has traded in his axe for a pen. In celebration of the release of his new "bizoir" (part business book, part memoir) "Twisted Business: Lessons From My Life in Rock ’n’ Roll," French will conduct a book signing at Looney Tunes Record Store in West Babylon on Nov. 7 at 4 p.m.
The book, which is co-authored with Steve Farber, focuses on French’s role as the band’s founding member and manager.
"Before the band even made it, we lived a full life of a rock-star band," French told Newsday in April. "Twisted Sister provided a particular genre of music. We satisfied the arena crowd which existed in the hundreds of thousands on Long Island."
To attend the event, purchase of the book at Looney Tunes is required, after which each customer will receive a wristband for admission. Each wristband warrants a maximum of two autographed items, but one must be the book.
