VH1 Save the Music Foundation will bring its drive to protect music education in schools to Sagaponack, with a high-profile gala featuring Jason Derulo.

"Hamptons Live" is set for Aug. 8 at the private home of a foundation supporter and will include performances by Derulo, and DJs Hannah Bronfman and Brendan Fallis. Tickets are $500-$2,500 and go on sale today through Eventbrite.

"Music education played an important role throughout my childhood and is something that remains very close to my heart," Derulo said in a statement. "I'm honored for the opportunity to team with VH1 Save The Music Foundation this summer in support of a cause that's so dear to me."

Derulo just headlined KTUphoria at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater Sunday and his new album "Everything Is 4" hits stores Tuesday, featuring the song-of-the-summer contender "Want to Want Me."

Organizers say proceeds will help the foundation's work and include a donation to an area school.

"As VH1 Save The Music Foundation nears its 20th anniversary, our commitment to preserving music education in public schools is made possible by the support of our amazing community," said Tom Calderone, president of VH1.
