Friday will be Nick Cannon's final day on the radio for NOW 92.3 due to his health issues.

"I have been asked to put my health first and cut back on some of my professional commitments in order to allow my body to get the rest that it needs to keep up with the demands of my multitasking schedule," he said in a statement on the station's website.

This news comes just one day after Mariah Carey's husband told listeners he was hospitalized last week for blood clots and heart problems.

According to E! News, Cannon was in the hospital briefly for two blood clots in his lung and an enlarged right ventricle.

The "America's Got Talent" host was hospitalized last year for mild kidney failure while vacationing in Aspen, Colo.
