There were tons of great men to choose from for Pet Rock's Man of the Year, but when it came down to it Justin Bieber surpassed them all. Sure Time magazine chose Mark Zuckerberg, GQ picked Drake and MTV gave Kanye West the coveted title, but come on, have any of them been such a powerful force that they were considered contagious? Bieber fever ran rampant in 2010. No one was safe from the Beebs.

From TV commercials, concerts, awards performances, comic books, even a singing doll, Justin Bieber was everywhere!!!! He even came out with a book this year titled, “First Step 2 Forever.” The young pop sensation learned very well from his mentor, Usher, and went on to sell millions of records and become the youngest person ever to win the American Music Awards' Artist of the Year award.

Just like our (little) woman of the year, Bieber took the spotlight off the adults in the room anytime he walked in. The fascination with this 16-year-old from Canada continued to grow throughout 2010 to the point that Barbara Walters named him one of her 10 most fascinating people of 2010 -- even rapper Snoop Dogg admitted to having Bieber fever.

His year continued to reach new heights when he was nominated for the Grammy’s Best New Artist award. Even when he was being investigated in an assault case in October, the love and support of his fans remained strong. It really seems like this kid can do no wrong.

The teen heartthrob will be adding movie star to his resume in February with the release of a feature film about his life and career -- despite being only 16!

For being one of the top dominators of the music world this year and having enough swag to gain the respect of some of the biggest celebs in the game, Justin Bieber is Pet Rock’s (teen) Man of the Year.
