It was a big day on "Today" for morning show anchor Savannah Guthrie.
She announced Monday morning on the show that she is engaged to Michael Feldman, her boyfriend of four years. Guthrie, 41 was all smiles as she shared the news that Feldman proposed over Mother's Day weekend, but unfortunately said her wedding will not be broadcast on the show.
"Our families basically have been in-laws for years," she said. "They've just been waiting for us to catch up."
Guthrie's family members aren't the only ones who approve of her husband-to-be. Her "Today" partner in crime Matt Lauer wished them well, saying "he's a great guy." Lauer also announced the engagement via Twitter, sharing a photo of a beaming Guthrie showing off her new sparkler.
Guthrie was married to BBC News presenter Mark Orchard from 2005 to 2009.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
