Sneak peek: 'Saw 3D' movie poster

The new "Saw 3D" movie is set to hit theaters in October and it is promising to blow your mind.

The new motion poster, released by Lionsgate earlier this week after announcing that "Saw 3D" would be the last of the "Saw" franchise after announcing that Saw 3D, the seventh in the franchise for those that are counting, would be the last Saw movie.

, features the bust of a statue that is being broken apart in what appears to be a violent attack. In an attempt to get people excited about the 3-D aspect of the film, the poster moves from left to right and gives the illusion that the giant fragments of sharp rocks are coming straight at you.

All in all, the poster does what it is supposed to do: it intrigues you and generates interest in the movie. The problem? This is the seventh "Saw" flick. Will 3-D be enough to get people back into the movie theaters to watch more of the same?
