As expected, after weeks of rumors, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi has finally confirmed that she is pregnant and engaged to the father of her child, Jionni LaValle.
And that means Snooki is done living in MTV's "Jersey Shore" house.
"If anything, I'll visit the shore," she said in the new issue of US Weekly out Friday, according to Fox. "I'm not living in that house being pregnant. I don't want to be one of those moms who's pregnant in a club. It's disgusting."
The 24-year-old announced the news on the cover of US Weekly, and Snooki, 24, told the mag she found out she was pregnant just after New Years and was immediately concerned because she had been drinking.
She has since cut out alcohol and caffeine and changed her partying ways.
"I have different priorities now," she said. "I don't care what anybody else thinks. As long as I know I'm ready and he's ready."
According to ABC News, Snooki tells the magazine she is sorry she denied pregnancy rumors earlier this year. The mom-to-be said she wanted to wait until she was three months along to share the news.
"Things can go wrong, like a miscarriage," she told the mag, according to Fox. "It was my business, and I wasn't ready to tell."
Polizzi and LaValle both posted about the news on Twitter early Wednesday.
"Happy to finally share the news with my fans," Polizzi tweeted Wednesday with a link to her US Weekly cover story.
"Thank You everyone!! Sorry about that wait but glad everyones happy!! Nicole and I are real excited!! Our baby is going to be #ShortnTan."
The meatball's representative also confirmed Snooki's life-changing news in a statement:
"We can officially confirm that Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi is pregnant and engaged to her boyfriend Jionni LaValle," her rep said. "Nicole is thrilled to finally be able to share her happy news with her fans."
Polizzi is currently filming her spin-off with her "Jersey Shore" BFF Jenni "JWoww" Farley and an MTV rep had some well wishes for the Snooks.
"We wish Nicole a healthy and happy pregnancy and congratulate her on her engagement," the rep said in a statement on MTV news. "We support her as she starts this new chapter of her life."
Some of Polizzi's "Shore" cast mates also congratulated the starlet:
"Congrats Snooki my Lil meatball!!" Deena Nicole Cortese tweeted. "Can't believe we're gonna have a little baby meatball running around soon. Your gonna be a great mommy"
Paul DelVecchio another "Shore" star who has a spin off show in the works, tweeted about his excitement, too:
"Congrats To My Girl Snooki," he posted. "So Happy For Her And Jionni!! I Better Be The Godfather :) #UncleDJPaulyD"
