THE DEAL The Scottish actor will make his Broadway debut in the Roundabout Theatre Company's upcoming revival of Tom Stoppard's 1984 drama "The Real Thing," which was originally scheduled to open in the spring but has now been moved to next fall. McGregor previously appeared as Sky Masterson in a London revival of "Guys and Dolls" that did not transfer to New York.

THE DEAL In an interview with Yahoo Movies, Jackman revealed that he has been offered the supporting role of Adolpho, the ridiculous Latin lothario, in the upcoming film version of the musical "The Drowsy Chaperone." Besides Jackman, the movie also stars Geoffrey Rush as Man in Chair, the guy who revels in listening to his favorite cast album and narrates its plot to the audience.
WHO Nathan Lane
THE DEAL Lane, who played Nathan Detroit in a smash Broadway revival of "Guys and Dolls" two decades ago, will revisit the role in Carnegie Hall's one-night benefit performance of the musical on April 3. The cast will also include Megan Mullally as Adelaide, Patrick Wilson as Sky Masterson and Sierra Boggess as Sarah Brown.

THE DEAL The Tony-winning "Pippin" director will stage Cirque du Soleil's latest big top spectacle, "Amaluna," being described as a tribute to women and involving goddesses in a setup reminiscent of Shakespeare's "The Tempest." It features a mostly female cast and will play on the grounds of Citi Field starting March 20.
