Lupita Nyong'o is coming to Broadway. The Oscar-winning actress from "12 Years a Slave" and the new "Star Wars" movie will appear early next year in "Eclipsed," which begins previews Feb. 23 and it to open March 6 at the Golden Theatre.

Nyong'o is currently making her New York stage debut in Danai Gurira's drama, which ends its sold-out run Nov. 29 at the Public Theater. "Eclipsed," the intense play that opened last week at the tiny celebrity-packed Off-Broadway theater, garnered glowing reviews for Nyong'o and the production but mixed reviews for the drama about the plight of captive women during the second Liberian civil war. Nyong'o portrays The Girl, the newest wife of an unseen rebel tyrant.
