The Plastics aren’t the only ones who’ll be wearing pink on Wednesdays.

Beginning Wednesday, March 14, theatergoers who show up at the August Wilson Theatre looking pretty in pink will have a chance to win a pair of free tickets to the Broadway musical “Mean Girls.” From scarves to blouses, anyone wearing a visible item of pink clothing will receive a pink lotto slip and be entered in a drawing for tickets to that performance. Entrants must arrive 2 1⁄2 hours before curtain time. The winning slip will be drawn two hours before the show, which begins previews Monday, March 12 and opens April 8.

If pink isn’t your color, you can enter either a digital lottery for a shot at two $42.50 tickets or a preshow lottery that will occur at the theater before each performance. For more details, go to meangirlsonbroadway.com/lottery.

The show, of course, is based on the popular 2004 movie that starred Long Island’s own Lindsay Lohan as a new girl in school who tries to fit in with the popular girls known as the Plastics. The book for the musical is by Tina Fey, who wrote the screenplay. As Plastic Gretchen Weiners would say, that’s so fetch!
