"Kinky Boots" will be getting some cleats in January.

Former New York Giant Tiki Barber will tackle his first Broadway role when he takes over as Don, a worker at the shoe factory who resents his new boss and the drag queen designer he's hired, in the Tony Award-winning musical, beginning Jan. 21. Barber will fill in for original cast member Daniel Stewart Sherman through March 4 while the actor stars in "My Very Own British Invasion" at Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey. Sherman will then return to "Kinky Boots" through the show's final performance on April 7.

“I am so excited to be making my Broadway debut in 'Kinky Boots,' " Barber said in a statement. “I was very fortunate to be part of the New York Giants for 10 years and feel incredibly lucky to be joining another New York institution: Broadway.”
