Project Runway's Tim Gunn, who is usually seen coaching designers as a mentor on the show, turned the attention to himself this morning on the ABC talk show "The Revolution."
The style guru said, with little hesitation, that he has not had sex in 29 years, and he is happy about it.
"Do I feel like less of a person for it? No. Not even remotely," Gunn, 58, told the audience.
The chief creative ofiicer of Liz Claiborne, who usually stays quiet about his personal life, said a tough relationship years ago, as well of fear of contracting AIDS, led him to a life of abstinence.
"I'm happy to be healthy and alive, quite frankly," he said confidently.
Still, Gunn said he is not opposed to the idea of having sex again one day.
"I don't want to imply to anyone that I have a mandate that says no sex. I don't. I don't know what's around the corner."
