Not all Hudson Valley celebrities are created equal, especially when it comes to Twitter.
Sometimes, stars will barely tweet at all; take Beyoncé, who owns a home in Scarsdale and posted all of four tweets total as of early November, despite more than 6 million followers. Other famous folks don't even bother with Twitter; northern Westchester resident Glenn Close once told Newsday Westchester that "because of our instant communication and tweeting and hashtags and all that ... we're in a danger of becoming a people who don't know how to reflect anymore."
While some would consider Close's stance admirable, many celebrities not only do tweet, but also do it right. They're the ones who go above and beyond plugging their projects and narrating their lunches to give us funny, thoughtful and interesting commentary. They're the ones you'll see on this countdown of the Top 10 Hudson Valley celebrity Twitter accounts.
