"Tron" has nothing on its latest incarnation, "Tron: Legacy" due in theaters Dec. 17, 2010. Attendees at Comic-Con in San Diego were among the first to see 3-D footage of the new sci-fi action flick.
One of the highlights were the custom-wired illuminated suits, a high-tech twist on the original glowing costumes of the '80s. "It was an honor to be able to wear something like that," said star Olivia Wilde. "It was really beautiful."
Academy Award winner Jeff Bridges reprises his role as Kevin Flynn and also plays the avatar Clu 2.0, giving him a younger look using computer generated tricks. "It tickled the kid in me, to be sucked inside the computer," he said.
"Tron: Legacy" isn't just for nerd boys, it offers an emotional story line between father and son and stunning visuals, so there's something for everyone. There's no doubt the next chapter of "Tron" will satisfy new and old fans.
