One of the bottom three Ashthon Jones, Haley Reinhart or Karen Rodriguez is about to be the first "American Idol" finalist cut. My money is on Ashthon.

They send Karen back to safety, leaving the two contestants with the craziest hair. And it is indeed Ashthon. Theoretically the judges could save her, but it ain't gonna happen.

She's singing Diana Ross again. "When You Tell Me That You Love Me." No energy, almost like she's accepted there's no point. Off-key to boot. Judges are just sitting there.

She was great during Hollywood week, but somewhere along the way the fun attitude left along with the vocals. She's crying at the finish.

"Not this time, baby, I'm sorry," says Jennifer Lopez. Bizarrely, her good-bye video is set to a David Cook cover of "Don't You Forget About Me."

They include the clip of Steven Tyler telling her, "You've got the confidence of a queen." She did, she was, she is no more.
