Of all the ridiculous things that have consumed the Internet in recent weeks, this has created a big stir:  Ben Affleck as Batman is not a good thing. Who knows why so many apparently feel this way, but fans do have a way of hating on something until they love on something. It's either a great overwhelming comic-connish passion or a dark fury fueled by hate.

There is no middle ground. Affleck stepped into this when he agreed to assume probably the most iconic role in pop culture, so he shouldn't have been surprised by the reaction, but apparently he was. He addressed all this on last night's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon." Go to 1:50 in this clip for further talk about Affleck and Batman.
