"Conan" was seen by 4,155,000 viewers.

Which is a lot of viewers.

Per TBS, which is happy right about now:

Conan O’Brien’s new TBS talk show was a hit with young viewers Monday
night, delivering an audience with a projected median age of just 30.
Conan – which featured guests Seth Rogen, Lea Michele and Jack White –
was watched by 2,451,000 adults 18-34; 3,285,000 adults 18-49; and
4,155,000 viewers.

According to The Associated Press, Conan beat his rivals by wide margins on his opening night. The "Daily Show" by John Stewart was seen by 1.3 million viewers and "The Colbert Report" was viewed by 1 million.

"Conan" also trumped over Jay Leno's "Tonight Show" which had only 3.5 million viewers, according to Nielsen Co. figures.
