BROADCHURCH

Series David Tennant stars as the requisite haunted police sleuth in this acclaimed UK murder mystery miniseries (seen here on BBC America). In an atmospheric seaside hamlet, he's the new guy, paired with a local detective (Olivia Colman) who more acutely feels the tearing of her town's social fabric as they hunt a child killer. Intense family/community dynamics keep it gripping from start to finish. (Fox is turning it into fall's "Gracepoint" with Tennant alongside "Breaking Bad" wife Anna Gunn and Nick Nolte.)

Extras Making-of half-hour, deleted scenes.

List price $40 DVD (no U.S. Blu-ray), out Tuesday from eOne.
