Stefano Langone is up next on "American Idol" San Francisco. Through an odd dramatic re-enactment, they talk about how he was in an accident. It's hard to see how much is fact and how much is made-for-TV. This show has no credibility. It treats truth as a building block.
He sings "Heard it Through the Grapevine" and has a good voice and is sincere but its hard to impress me with a song like that. Judges really like it. "Very strong" says Randy Jackson. "you have real star quality -- you have movie star good looks," says Jennifer Lopez.
Oh gosh, Steven Tyler says, "you survived that accident for a reason -- and I'm about to tell you why. You're going to Hollywood!"
Really? That's why he lived, for a reality TV show that's slipping in the ratings?
