CeeLo Green -- a major part of the success of NBC's one major success of the last five years, "The Voice" -- told Ellen DeGeneres during an interview that will air later Wednesday that he is "not coming back at all" to the show. Below is the clip and go in three minutes; this all begins with Lionel Richie, with whom Green is going on tour.

A surprise? Well, Shakira and Usher were due back for the new season, and Green was slated to take an absence; it was not however  labeled as a permanent one, but rather a leave. The show returns Monday... In addition, there is the matter of that pending litigation -- very serious charges relating to what prosecutors said was his role in giving ecstasy to a woman, and the subsequent date rape charges that were filed.

But he says "I don't want to wear out my welcome" and he wants to put out a new album... Host DeGeneres is clearly caught off guard...
